This exciting 5-day Golden Eagle photography holiday, at the world famous Conny Lundstrom’s site; includes a 4-night stay at a wonderful Swedish cottage, lying in the foothills of the Mountains. The dates have been specifically chosen for the best activity, golden eagle breeding times and snow covered grounds in Winter and busy feeding period in Autumn as the eagles prepare for winter. Although this means cold weather will be present so clothing correctly will make a comfortable trip. The hide has been carefully chosen for the best photographing conditions in a landscape of mountainous coniferous forest with segments of bog. The hide itself has a log burning fire, Tea/Coffee facilities and toilet.
Other species in the area beside Golden Eagle are White Tailed Eagle, Goshawk, Gyrfalcon, Raven and Fox among others. We can also, if lucky, see and photograph the spectacular Aurora Borealis or the Northern Lights.
Our itinerary is subject to change & is to be considered provisional, however change is unlikely.

About Conny Lundström
Conny Lundström has been interested in photography since 1990. He has always been very fond of outdoor life, so it came natural for him to become a wildlife photographer.
Golden eagle has been his prime subject for several years now, and in 1999 he won a first price with a close up of a golden eagle in the Wild Life Photographer of the Year, the worlds largest wildlife photo competition.
Conny´s pictures has been shown in a number of European newspapers and magazines, for example BBC Wildlife Magazine and the German magazine NaturFoto.
Scott’s wildlife photography tours are handled and financially protected via Eden Safaris. As of January 2018, a new travel tour directive means that tighter restrictions on independent tour operators in the UK will be in place meaning all holidays and tours (including photography tours) will be required by law to be financially protect. The most viable way to do this for our trips was to partner with a reliable and conservation focused travel agency, who can offer both the current great service, prices and holidays, whilst financially protecting our clients money.
You will be welcomed by a representative from Eden Safaris (normally your photography tour leader) at Skelleftea airport, where we will transfer to our farmhouse cottage.
After an early breakfast we transfer to our photographic location in the heart of the Swedish pine forests where a Full days photography in the golden eagle hides will take place.
After breakfast (depending on your flight time) Our representative will pick you up and transfer your group to the Airport for the onward flight.
